Thermal mastic is the conductive material transfers the cold from the cooling unit tube in the foam block when the coils are tight against the freezer, food zone fins, and transfers the cold into your refrigerator. Thermal mastic is not a glue. If you are re-doing a cooling unit to reseal you may need to order a tube of Thermal Mastic or Maybe just order to have in stock for later.
